Carpets and flooring play a fundamental role in shaping the comfort and atmosphere of a space. Beyond their visual contribution, they influence acoustics, walking comfort and the overall perception of quality within an interior. In environments such as yachts, residences, hotels or offices, flooring solutions must balance aesthetics with performance. Materials are exposed to constant movement, varying environmental conditions and intensive daily use. For this reason, selecting and installing carpets and flooring requires a technical approach that goes beyond surface appearance. Custom solutions allow each space to achieve the right combination of comfort, durability and integration with the overall interior design. Comfort as a Functional Element One of the primary roles of carpets and soft flooring solutions is to enhance physical comfort within a space. Underfoot softness, thermal insulation and acoustic absorption all contribute to a more pleasant environment. In yachts and residential interiors, carpets help reduce impact noise...

Working on yacht interiors introduces a set of challenges that are rarely present in conventional interior projects. Limited space, strict tolerances, environmental exposure and complex structural conditions all require a highly precise approach to materials and installation. Over time, these constraints shape the way projects are approached. Many of the lessons learned in yacht interiors ultimately translate into better practices for residential, hospitality and commercial spaces. Although the environments differ, the discipline required in marine projects often raises the standard for interior work as a whole. Precision Becomes Essential Yachts demand a level of precision that leaves little margin for adjustment once fabrication begins. Surfaces are often curved, structures are integrated and available space is carefully optimised. As a result, measurements, patterns and fabrication must be extremely accurate from the outset. Even small deviations can affect how elements align within the space. This emphasis on precision influences how work is...

A superyacht salon is more than a central living space. It is where guests relax, socialise and spend much of their time onboard. When upholstery no longer reflects the yacht’s character or level of comfort, the entire interior can feel dated, even if the layout remains unchanged. This project is focused on reviving a superyacht salon through bespoke upholstery, enhancing both the visual identity of the space and the way it is experienced on a daily basis. Before: an interior that needed a revival Before the refit, the salon upholstery showed clear signs of wear. Fabrics had lost their structure, seating no longer offered the level of comfort expected, and the overall atmosphere felt tired and inconsistent. Although the layout worked well, the materials and finishes no longer matched the yacht’s standards. The Approach: tailored solutions, not standard answers Rather than applying generic solutions, the refit focused on bespoke upholstery...

Strengthening connections and shaping future projects in the superyacht industry Monaco Yacht Show is always much more than an exhibition – it is the heartbeat of the superyacht world, where ideas, innovation, and collaborations come to life. This year, Revival was proud to be part of the 2025 edition, showcasing its vision of premium yacht upholstery and connecting with professionals who are shaping the future of the industry. From captains and project managers to designers and shipyards, our Stand AL44 (Quai Albert IER) became a space for dialogue, inspiration and shared ambition. One of the highlights of our participation was the exclusive gathering on Thursday, September 25th, where we welcomed partners and new contacts to exchange perspectives and explore opportunities for collaboration. The energy and conversations that flowed during the event reflected what makes Monaco so unique: a true meeting point for creativity and innovation in yachting. For...
